Sire APH Ferrari  Dam Southfalk Kristal was entered in the 0 – 1yo class, she achieved an exceptional score of 87.5% at just 3 months old winning her age group class and Champion Junior Trakehner.  Faberge was also the highest scoring Trakehner assessed in Australia by the Trakehner Verband Classifier, very pleasing results for our Australian bred Trakehners.

Dulwich Stud put up 2 mares for classification, Tallyho Marquisette and Southfalk Kristal they both achieved pleasing results with percentages of 77.5% and 74.75 placing 2nd and 3rd in the mare age groups respectively.

APH Ferrari has proven to be a top producer with three lovely foals by him this year, 2 colts and 1 filly.  We currently have a range of lovely foals and one yearling for sale – see the for sale page for details.

2009/2010 was an eventful foaling season with the safe arrival (eventually) of five foals, 2 colts and 3 fillies, one filly by Latimer (frozen semen) caused a fair bit of stress as she presented placenta first, we got her out safely and all seemed well.  Several hours later she was a dummy foal and had lost the ability to suckle after local vets doing what they could I rushed her to Satur Veterinary Clinic in Scone in the front of my landcruiser, the trip took 6 1/2 hours and they managed to perform a miracle on a very ill foal.  Dulwich Stud thanks Richard (vet) and the wonderful support team at Satur for their huge effort.   I truly believed this filly would not survive and after losing a colt of the same breeding last season plus semen issues I was about to give up on ever having a Latimer foal.  Mirage is still a little behind the other foals but doing nicely since her huge ordeal at the start.
